It's funny how denim trends change through the years. I remember all of the embellished jeans that every girl had in high school, hello True Religion and Miss Me. Although I always wanted a pair, I am just too realistic and only bought "classic" jeans. I was more conservative with my style then, buying simple dark wash denim while everyone else was wearing bleached rhinestoned pairs. While browsing Nordstrom's BP section one day, I decided to step out of my little box and try something different: a pair of trouser jeans. Ever since then, I've loved the chic feel of a pair with a dark wash and wide leg. They are slimming and a bit "dressier" while still having a classic denim feel.
