A few months ago, I would never have worn two pieces of the same color together. I'm now a monochrome lover though, it's just so fresh looking and chic. I paired this navy skirt with a patterned top of the same hue and am loving how the different prints and textures make up for a lack of color difference. This is one trend I will definitely be transferring into my fall wardrobe.

I'm loving that so many women are ditching fashion "rules" and just going for it. I've seen monochromatic outfits done many ways and really wanted to try it myself. Although the white is a magnet for stains, it makes me feel so summery.
