Outfit posts are back, yay! I'm so sorry guys. Planning a wedding, graduating, moving home, and applying for jobs has been getting the best of me. Thank goodness half of those things are just about done. Life is good, WAY good.

I'm noticing that the back of my purse is turning blue from rubbing on denim, sadness :( Does anyone have any tips to fix this? I can never seem to get it off!

Riding Boots - Necklace - Gloves

Yay for being halfway done with the week already! I've been in a major clothing rut lately: wearing only denim, black, and ballet flats. Instead of impulsively buying new clothes to replace the ones I'm tired of, I've been dreaming up some unexpected combinations. Contrasting colors and mixed patterns instantly helped my wardrobe feel less boring.

J. Crew is having a 25% off sale on ALL of the items from their site. What better time than now to stock up on fall staples and splurge worthy pieces?! I'm so happy to have found the camo quilted vest through J. Crew's "We'll Find it For You" service. Since I just purchased that, I probably won't be buying anything during the sale. I have been drooling over the leather sleeve tee, zipper dress, and leopard belt though so one of those items is next on my fall shopping list. What are your favorite sale picks?

Good news, I'm back up and running! I did end up having mono and although I'm completely exhausted I feel much better than I did before.

I ordered this dress from Lulu's last week and love it's patriotic colors and flowy shape (yes, I know "flowy" isn't a word). I debated whether or not to wear heels or flats with it but ultimately decided on booties. They aren't too dressy but are a step up from sandals. Plus, they add a fun western flare and fall style to the look. I only own one pair of booties but am looking so forward to buying more for the cooler months ahead.
