Good news, I'm back up and running! I did end up having mono and although I'm completely exhausted I feel much better than I did before.

I ordered this dress from Lulu's last week and love it's patriotic colors and flowy shape (yes, I know "flowy" isn't a word). I debated whether or not to wear heels or flats with it but ultimately decided on booties. They aren't too dressy but are a step up from sandals. Plus, they add a fun western flare and fall style to the look. I only own one pair of booties but am looking so forward to buying more for the cooler months ahead.

Happy Thursday pretties! My brain is mush right now so I'm sorry for the lack of words. School is getting the best of me. On a side not, I'm loving the color blush. It's such a fun change for fall and is a great transition color. Who's ready for the weekend?!

So let's just talk about the fact that this dress accentuates everything. That's good for my lady lumps and booty but bad for my hips and love handles. I told Christian I felt slightly like Kim Kardashian when I was wearing it, she's one confident woman.

On a side note, did anyone else LOVE how Kate Middleton looked while she and William introduced their son to the world? She looked so stunning and fresh but not stick thin; there was still a little bump in her belly. I'm just so happy to see women who are real, it's quite refreshing. That's true beauty.

You know those times when you have an item in your closet that keeps staring at you but you really aren't feeling it? Then one day you decide to put it on, and, BAM a whole new woman! Well, that's a bit of an exaggeration. This dress does make me feel pretty good though for something I didn't think I liked. Plus, I got compliments on it from 4 strangers and the boyfriend, I think that counts for something ;)
