I posted this outfit on Instagram a few weeks ago and it got lots of love, so I figured I'd do a blog post outlining the details. It's one of my favorite pairings this winter- I'm loving plaid and fur. 

How crazy is it that Christmas is just a couple of days away? It snuck up super fast this year. Between the wedding and graduation it seems as though Christmas was put on the back burner. I'm in full blown Christmas mode now though and am so excited to spend time with my family. Church yesterday was focused around Christmas and the true reason we are celebrating. It was such a sweet way to reflect on this wonderful time of year and His love for us. Thank you all for reading!

Happy Monday! Christian and I spent the weekend in Idaho visiting his family and it was wonderful. We did so many fun things while we were there and loved spending time with all of the people that we love. I'll be sharing photos throughout the week but just did a quick outfit post for today.

As you all may have noticed, I LOVE vests (my last 3 posts have had one...). I remember telling my mom how silly I thought they were a few years ago. I mean, why would someone want cold arms?! Now I'm all about them.... my how things change!

Floral First

As much as I love floral patterns, I've had such a hard time getting myself to wear them. I think it's just that voice in my head telling me that solids, stripes, and polka dots are a better investment. I purchased this shirt at J. Crew last week though and I'm in love! Definitely going to be searching for more floral pieces with bright colors for the summer months.

How cute is that bulldog face?! My parents have three dogs: a labrador, an english bulldog, and a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix but Bohdi the bulldog has the most personality by far. He so badly wanted to be in the pictures lol.

I'm a sucker for a classic striped cotton shift dress. This is my all time favorite everyday dress, so sad that Gap no longer carries it (or else I'd have every color). What's your favorite dress style?

P.S. Christian was slightly obsessed with the arrow on the sunglasses and insisted on a picture, turned out great!
