Transitioning
top: Topshop, jeans: Rebecca Minkoff, bag: Coach, earrings: J. Crew, shoes: Zara, sunglasses: Karen Walker, lipstick: MAC, watch: Michael Kors
As I've mentioned before, fall is my favorite season. Aside from all of the wonderful activities that come along with the season, the clothes are just incredible. There are so many rich tones and I love having the ability to layer (although in AZ that's rare in the early fall). My fall favorites for this year include deep red lips, embellished sweatshirts, boyfriend jeans, oversized watches, metallic shoes, and statement earrings. What are your favorite fall pieces?

Summer Lipsticks

Yay for it being Wednesday! It's movie day with the kiddos today, my favorite. Oh, and I'm shopping the Nords Anniversary pre-sale...perfect day.
The lipsticks above are my must-haves for summer. I love that I will be able to transition a lot of them to the fall as well. Most of these are statement lipsticks, bright and intended to be an "accessory". My two everyday colors are YSL Sheer Candy #9 and MAC's Politely Pink. I am in LOVE with YSL's Sheer Candy line, they're glossy and hydrating with just a hint of color (not to mention they smell amazing) but it pained me to spend $35 on lipstick. I've discovered that drugstore lipstick can be just as lovely! My only recommendation is to keep your reciept in case the color doesn't end up working out.
What are your favorite summer lipsticks? I'd love to hear, I'm always looking for new colors :)
Navy & White 4 Ways

outfit details: top: J. Crew, skirt: J. Crew (old), shoes: Boutique 9 via Saks off 5th, bag: Coach, necklace: Forever 21 (similar), rings: Ariella, sunglasses: Chanel via Ebay, lips: MAC's Saint Germain
Today I'm teaming up with 3 other fabulous bloggers to show all you pretties different ways to wear navy and white. The amount of navy and white items in my closet is endless, it seems to be a favorite color combination of mine. Unfortunately though, I feel like it gets a bit boring after wearing it so many times. I love to add a pop of color to brighten up the outfit by using shoes (as seen here), jewelry, or a fun bag.
Be sure to check out Navy & Orange, The Now Stylebook, and Julie Leah to see how these wonderful ladies styled navy and white :)

Skirts & Sneakers

outfit details: top: Forever 21, skirt: J. Crew (similar), shoes: Converse via Nordstrom (sold out), bag: Coach, necklace: Charlene K, sunglasses: Karen Walker, bracelets: Stella & Dot Arrow, Stella & Dot Renegade, lips: MAC's Saint Germain
I was a little hesitant to wear my new Converse with a more feminine outfit, but I love the way it turned out. The balance between preppy, sporty, and girly is just perfect.
I love that blogging brings me out of my comfort zone and encourages me to try new things. Thanks for all the support pretties! :)

Let's Beautify

I tried out the ombre nail trend last night and I'm in love! I used blue tones this time but can't wait to do pinks and oranges in the future. Makes me feel like a mermaid... I guess it's the green/blue ocean tones? Hello Ariel.colors from left to right: OPI- Austin Tatious Turquoise, Klean Color- Catch Me, Essie- Mint Candy Apple, Essie- Absolutely Shore, OPI- My Boyfriend Scales Walls
Momma took me lipstick shopping last weekend, I've never really worn the stuff since in fear of looking like a clown. I fell in love with MAC's Politely Pink and YSL's Volupte Sheer Candy. Politely Pink is great for everyday, very subtle and neutral. I love the YSL color as a pop of pink that isn't too "bright". It can be layered for a darker color or glazed on for a little color. Definitely hooked on lipstick now, uh oh!
